Recreational soccer is a soccer program primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game.
Established in 1980, the Wallkill Valley Recreation Soccer Club is dedicated to focusing on what matters most - the children. These children learn many important life skills through this program while taking part in recreational activity. Through team work and the guidance of the coaches, these children are learning the importance of the word TEAM while making friends and having fun.
The organization is comprised of players, parents and coaches from the towns of Hardyston, Hamburg, and Franklin. With between 500 to 700 unique children enrolled each year, the organization strives to provide the best program for these children.
